Music inspires me. I feel everything when I hear certain songs that put me in a certain mood. Whether the genre is bossa nova, jazz, compas, salsa, classical or bata, my heart is in those beats and melodies. I can create, imagine, and process the world around me. So open yourself to the music around you and find what makes you move.

I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano, even before I started learning how to play the violin at 12 years old. But my school didn't have rental pianos, so the violin it was. Fast forward decades later, I went to NYC to visit a friend, and we went to visit her niece who was taking piano lessons. Her niece played Moonlight Sonata for us, and after hearing it, I swore I'd learn how to play this piece because it's one of my faves. I went to Youtube and started practicing religiously on any piano I could find. I haven't taken a piano lesson yet and have yet to learn how to read piano music, but I can play a lil something something from memory - thanks to Youcanplayit.com. See the videos below!
